Jamieson's creative process is rooted in the meditative experience of walking the shoreline of her hometown of White Rock, BC. By studying the shapes, patterns and reflections of the ocean through the seasons and different times of the day, Jamieson incorporates this into her landscapes and portraits. With a special interest in the changing views of her local area.

 

Born in BC, Canada, Trish spent some of her childhood running around her forested property on Canada's west coast and some of her childhood in Australia's tropical north east coast. While drawing and painting were her favourite creative mediums as a child, she trained and performed in different dance disciplines as a youth. It was doing this that she gained the love and visual knowledge of movement and the body and applies it to her current art practice.
